Today, we’ve published a minor release of TimeXtender Portal with the following changes:
New
- Custom firewall rules for instances: You can now grant specific IP addresses access to an instance. Access to your TimeXtender instances are protected by dynamically created firewall rules, but in rare cases, the automatic system will not create the correct rules to allow access from TimeXtender Desktop. With the new feature, you can add additional rules if the automated system, for some reason, does not work for you.
Changed
- When you add and edit data sources, you’ll now find a handy menu on the left to help you navigate the forms, which can be rather long for some data source providers.
