In what version of Timextender is the existing Easy Connect provider replaced by the new TNS provider? We are running the older classic version 20.10.52.64
Hi, I am trying to connect with NetSuite ERP and created a data source. But when I am testing the connection getting following error. Please let me know how to correct, so I can establish the connection and also let me know if there are any pre-requisites for the same. Also if you can also share the Data Connection screen with information to be added, would be great. I am using NetSuite (CDATA) Connector for the same.Following is the error Service request failed: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. We have an issue with an Oracle data source, having a different “Owner” between the acceptance and production environments. We're on TimeXtender 20.10.51 using Business Units. The Oracle data source is configured using a global database. On acceptance it looks like this:When the data source is added on acceptance, objects are read as accpOwner.tableName.The production global database properties look like this, with a different owner:However, on production TimeXtender expects the same owner that was configured in acceptance:And these selected tables don't exist in the production database, because they exist as prodOwner.tableName.This means that the tables cannot be found in the data source, and consequently cannot be executed. When syncing data source on prod all tables are dropped from the business unit, losing mappings to DSA, and no production tables are selected. One solution I can think of is to add ACCP and PROD tables in both environments, and use an environment variable to compens
Does anyone have experience with the “BI Cloud Connector“ of Oracle? They (Oracle supplier) say it could be used to extract data from Oracle Cloud to your local database.Currently we use scheduled CSV exports from Oracle to a SFTP location to load via ODX into TimeXtender. We wish to replace/remove this step and connect TX directly to Oracle Cloud. This Oracle BI Cloud connector inserts data into a database of choice (instead of the TX ODX pulling it out of a database). How can we integrate this with our TX environment?
Hi,I have a setup of a TimeXtender 20.10.41.64, ODX, ADL, ADF, Self hosted IR which I get to work just fine. I need to extract data from an IFS10 source, Oracle database, and the sync is too slow so it times out and fail after 2 hours. The data source is provided by a third party and which means that the customer doesn’t have control to change any settings and 2 hours should be enough time for a sync. The customer have a couple of TX environments After many tests and discussing with the customer a similar problem have occurred before, but in an environment not using ODX server, where a sync took over 2 hours and this was fixed in Timextender release 20.10.3, issue “8889: Oracle slow synchronization - affects all bit specific data sources”. After this release the customer says the sync only takes about 10-15 min. Could this be a problem in ODX server as well? I managed to get a successful sync with version 20.10.40 which took about 2 hours but after an upgrade to 20.10.41 I’ve managed
I have a setup of a TimeXtender 20.10.40.64, ODX, ADL, ADF, Self hosted IR which I get to work just fine. I need to extract data from an IFS10 source, Oracle database, and it works until syncing then it seems to start an endless loop and never finish or gives an error. In TX I havesetup a new data source, Azure Data Factory - Oracle included all connection info information In Select tables I click “Search” and get all the tables available in the Oracle DB I Include a couple a tables Setup a transfer task Syncing starts running and I can see in ADF that is is running but it never receives any data from the data sourceI have tested from a SQL data source with ADF and it works just fine, both sync and transferI have in ADF tested to preview tables in the dataset created by TX and I can preview tables from Oracle DB just fine. I have even tried to create my own pipeline in ADF to copy data from the same data source to the same sink that TX created and it works just fine. It creates a parqu
I am loading a table from an Oracle source with the ODX. When I load the table without an incremental selection rule, the table loads fine. But when I add an incremental rule on a datetime column (change date column in the source table) I get the error:ORA-01861: literal does not match format stringDoes the ODX server pass the correct where clause to the Oracle DB for the incremental load? Or am I doing something wrong?Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi,I am trying to import data from a Oracle db and need a datefilter to limit the amount of data extracted, for instance last 7 days.Version: Discovery Hub 19.2.9.64Everything works fine when I test the SQL in Oracle, but when I put it into TX this error occurs every time:ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input stringDetails:ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input string ...Module: OraOLEDBSystem.Data.OleDb.OleDbExceptionat System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandTextErrorHandling(OleDbHResult hr)at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandTextForMultpleResults(tagDBPARAMS dbParams, Object& executeResult)at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandText(Object& executeResult)at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteReaderInternal(CommandBehavior behavior, String method)at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior behavior)at TimeXtender.DataManager.StepTransferSSISExecute.BulkCopySource(Boolean
'ORA-01861 Literal does not match format strings' I keep getting this error when I want te deploy and execute my table. I tried the troubleshoot option: delete the table by using the SQL Server Cleanup Tool, but this doesn't seems to work in my case. The field that gets the error is my Regestration Date with data type 'DATE'. This field also contains dates before 1753-1-1 (I guess typos). I've added a data selection rule and then I get the ORA error. You guys got a solution for this problem?
