Hi, I have server, database, username and password for postgreSQL DB.with pgAdmin no issue it connects immediatelly. (no additional settings)In TX I tried CData ADO.NET Provider for PostreSQL 2022 (tried 2018 also, same result)Set SSL False - got error no encryptionSet SSL True - [500] System error: server certificate verification failed. Connection aborted. should I need any additional configuration, maybe different provider, any ideas? thanks in advance,Jakub
We are experiencing an issue with Generic ODBC Data Sources in TimeXtender 20.10.74.64 on SQLTX01.EnvironmentTimeXtender version: 20.10.74.64 Repository/Application: 20.10.74.64 Server: SQLTX01 OS: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter SQL Server: Microsoft SQL Server 14.0.3520.4 NT x64 TX build: 64 bitInitial situationWe originally noticed the issue on a PostgreSQL source that is accessed through an SSH tunnel. The PostgreSQL ODBC connection itself works correctly when tested directly in the ODBC Data Source Administrator.Example:server: 127.0.0.1 port: 5433 ODBC test from Windows ODBC Administrator: successfulAt first we suspected a PostgreSQL / tunnel issue, but further testing suggests this is not the case. What happens in TimeXtenderThe issue occurs inside the Edit Generic ODBC Data Source dialog. There are two scenarios:1. Opening the DSN dropdownWhen we open the Generic ODBC Data Source dialog and click the dropdown to show available System DSNs, TimeXtender immediately fails. So the failu
I am trying to setup a connection to a MySQL Database. It works just fine in MySQL workbench. It works just fine in ODBC Data Source AdministratorTimextender throws me this error:ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specifiedBut this is what it looks like in the portal: Am I missing something really obvious here?
I'm trying to connect to MongoDB and load data into Timextender I have a ODBC driver setup, and test connection works. In Timextender I have ODBC Generic Data setup, and test connection works and to Synchronize Data Source works as well. But when I try to execute the data transfer from MongoDB into Timextender then I get an error.
Hello, we would like to select the columns what are loaded from a data source to odx with a odbc connector. We tried it this way Click on datasource → Select Tables → Select ColumnsBut there are not columns what we can select from: How is it possible to select columns for data sources using the odbc connector? Thank you and best regards,Julia
When attempting to connect to the MySQL database using the ODBC Connector, we are encountering an issue where ENUM data type fields are not displaying. However, when manually inserting the field headers into the query, the values are visible.
Hi Team, we are using sql server 2019 databases and servers are configured with HADR cluster and Always ON (AG) with multi-subnet failover option .The MultiSubnetFailover option in database connection string controls how the client attempts to connect to a database server, especially when multiple IPs are configured. To support AG listener alias connection string with multiple IPs, we need to add additional parameter: “MultiSubnetFailover=True” in DB connection string. We need to know TimeXtender 20.39.10.64 tool is capable to support "MultiSubnetFailover=True" parameter in DB configuration or not.
Hello,i have the following issue:i would like to save my tables in the staging area so i can store them (because some of my data in the datasource will be deleted soon).Futhermore in the future maybe new fields will be added to those tables in the datasource and then i would be forced to deploy my tables in the staging area.Question : is there a way to keep the old values from that tables and only add the new field to that table without truncating everything with the deployment in the staging area?ty in advanceFEN
Hello, for one of our customers we are using the “Odbc Data Provider” so that we can a local ODBC with a specific driver called "Progress OpendeEdge” (Source: ProFashionALL). We need to add Additional Connection Properties for this datasource. In the older TX versions (< v20) we could add these Additional Properties. This is missing in the new TX version so we can't connect to this source at the moment. This is the main source and crucial in this project. Anyone ran into this issue or has a workaround? There is a workaround but this must done at the source where they store the credentials in the “_user table". I hoped there would be a solution at our (TX) side. Hope to hear.
Hi to all,In order to improve performance of data loading from Netsuite , we were advised to use Netsuite ODBC provided connetor and use Suiteanalytics. I have download the odbc connector provided by Netsuite, and installed it on the Timextender VM, i get an succesful connection in connecting to NS, using ODBC-test connection. However i cannot acess the odbc driver in Timextender ODX, so how do i do that. Keeping in mind that the Netsuite CData connector uses Rest-calls with limits 1000 records.. so that is not feasable. thank you in advance Peter
Hello, one of our customers is considering the use of TimeXtender but their IT department is not supporting ODBC. Is it possible to discover (metadata analysis) and transfer data from new datasources (SQL, Oracle, etc.) without the use of ODBC? Or can all be done using the ODX server?
