Hello,

we would like to select the columns what are loaded from a data source to odx with a odbc connector.

We tried it this way Click on datasource → Select Tables → Select Columns

But there are not columns what we can select from:

How is it possible to select columns for data sources using the odbc connector?

Thank you and best regards,

Julia

Thank you for you responses!

The issue was that I had configured the data source in the advanced setting for the property “View Schema Name” with TABLE_SCHEMA instead of TABLE_SCHEM. With TABLE_SCHEM it works.

Hi,

if you click the ‘Search’ button above the left pane, does it show you results?

Hi,

Test Connection on the Data Source succeeds? And can you synchronize the source successfully? If so, does the Data Source Explorer show you any content?

Test Connection is successful, the synchronize task is in status “completed with errors”, but the error refers to just one table. The Data Source Explorer shows content.

I am not sure whether a failing synchronisation will block the Select Tables feature, but if you do Select Tables and then Search - if it does not show you a list of tables, I would focus on the issue with the single table.

Hi @j.burgstaller which version of TimeXtender are you using? Can you also please confirm which ODBC provider are you using?
