TimeXtender Orchestration and Data Quality Minimum Requirements

The following are the minimum hardware and software requirements for TimeXtender Orchestration and Data Quality. For production use, the computer on which you install should meet or exceed minimum hardware requirements. 

Actual system hardware needs for installations can be based on many factors, including the number of users and the amount of data being stored.

Desktop Client

  • Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 (Dual Core)
  • Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) or newer 
  • 4GB memory or larger
  • 5GB minimum free disk space or larger

Data Server

Execution Host or Web Server

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) or newer
  • IIS 7.5 or newer?
  • .NET 4.5.2
  • Powershell 5

Web Browser

  • Chrome on Windows, Mac and Android
  • Microsoft & Internet Explorer 11 on Windows.

Have these requirements changed based on the latest Gateway install provided in the cloud?

I logged into the portal yesterday with a client to install but was told we needed .NET 4.8 installed. Their Windows Server is 2019 and although documentation on Microsoft says the highest .NET version this operating system can take is 4.7, we were able to successfully install .NET 4.8.

However, even after installing (and rebooting) .NET 4.8 on the server, we still received the same error message while trying to install the Gateway.

Any troubleshooting tips you can provide? Or is there an older Gateway MSI we can use for Windows Server 2019?
