This functionality was released in TimeXtender Data Integration 6814.1 and requires TimeXtender Orchestration and Data Quality (i.e. Exmon DG) version 24.3 or later.
The TimeXtender Execution Service must be running and configured to allow Orchestration to be able to run packages. Click on Configure the TimeXtender Execution Service for more information on how to configure the TimeXtender Execution Service.
TimeXtender Orchestration is now able to directly start your executions
- Go to the waffle menu in the top right corner of the TimeXtender Portal
- Click "Unlock Orchestration"
- Select which user should be account admin in TimeXtender Orchestration
- Click "Unlock Orchestration" button
- Navigate to General
- Right click Data Providers
- Select New... > Data Provider
- Give it a title and click OK
- Click Datasource Type and select TimeXtender Data Integration
- Paste your API key into the api key field in the connection pane, save it, click Sync with TDI...
- Select a system to create/move tasks to and click OK
- Refresh the object explorer
Real-Time Command Execution
- Orchestration and Data Quality (O&DQ) client:
- Right-click Packages
- Select New... > TimeXtender Ingest/Prepare/Deliver
- You can also open an already existing package
- Give the package a name
- Select a Data Provider
- Select a task/execution package
- Save the package
- Run the package
- Turnkey:
- Navigate to a workspace that contains your process map
- Navigate to Process Maps tab
- Select your process map
- Select Run Process
- Select Start
Enhanced Logging and Transparency
- Orchestration and Data Quality (O&DQ) client:
- Navigate to General > Audit History
- Open Execution History
- Find a package execution
- On the right you can click the i icon to see details for the execution
- The execution contains all the information from TDI logs
- Turnkey
- Navigate to your process map
- Select a package on the map
- On the right side, you will get a panel that contains recent executions
- You can click the log icon to see details for that particular execution
