Welcome to next step in our Holistic Data Suite experience! We’ve rolled out some exciting changes designed to streamline your workflows, enhance visibility, and reduce those pesky manual steps. Here’s a breakdown of what’s new and how it all works

TimeXtender Orchestration is now able to directly start your executions

Instead of managing TimeXtender Data Integration (TDI) at the “Job” level, you can now orchestrate your Tasks and Execution Packages directly. This change eliminates redundant groupings, making setup easier and more intuitive. You’ll spend less time figuring out what to run and more time getting results.
Get access to TimeXtender Orchestration:
  1. Go to the waffle menu in the top right corner of the TimeXtender Portal
  2. Click "Unlock Orchestration"
  3. Select which user should be account admin in TimeXtender Orchestration
  4. Click "Unlock Orchestration" button
Add your API key in TimeXtender Orchestration:
  1. Navigate to General
  2. Right click Data Providers
  3. Select New... > Data Provider
  4. Give it a title and click OK
  5. Click Datasource Type and select TimeXtender Data Integration
  6. Paste your API key into the api key field in the connection pane, save it, click Sync with TDI...
  7. Select a system to create/move tasks to and click OK
  8. Refresh the object explorer
Orchestration will even help you out by auto-generating process maps & more!

Real-Time Command Execution

Say goodbye to schedule lags! When you hit Run, Orchestration can now immediately start executions. No more waiting around - it’s all instant, letting you stay in control of your timeline.
  1. Orchestration and Data Quality (O&DQ) client:
    1. Right-click Packages
    2. Select New... > TimeXtender Ingest/Prepare/Deliver
      1. You can also open an already existing package
    3. Give the package a name
    4. Select a Data Provider
    5. Select a task/execution package
    6. Save the package
    7. Run the package
  2. Turnkey:
    1. Navigate to a workspace that contains your process map
    2. Navigate to Process Maps tab
    3. Select your process map
    4. Select Run Process
    5. Select Start

Enhanced Logging and Transparency

You now get better insights on executions in TimeXtender Orchestration. Now, all log details—execution statuses, error messages, task logs—are available to you in Orchestration. Troubleshooting just got a whole lot easier!
  1. Orchestration and Data Quality (O&DQ) client:
    1. Navigate to General > Audit History
    2. Open Execution History
    3. Find a package execution
    4. On the right you can click the i icon to see details for the execution
    5. The execution contains all the information from TDI logs
  2. Turnkey
    1. Navigate to your process map
    2. Select a package on the map
    3. On the right side, you will get a panel that contains recent executions
    4. You can click the log icon to see details for that particular execution

Seamless Navigation

Moving between TDI and Orchestration is now a breeze. You’ll find a handy button in TDI that opens Orchestration directly. Easily located, right next to xPilot. The button will be there if your Orchestration installation is on the same machine.

Parallel Execution of Non-Dependent Packages

Working with multiple non-dependent packages? Now you can execute them in parallel! This optimization helps you manage workloads more efficiently, cutting down on total run time and getting more done with less effort. Keep in mind that you have to configure execution packages to run concurrently, to do this, edit your execution package and go to the Concurrent packages tab and select which packages can run concurrently as the package being edited.

Auto generated API-Key

When a customer is requesting access to TimeXtender Orchestration from TDI Portal, we will now autogenerate an API-key for you. This allows us to setup a TDI datasource in Orchestration in the creation process, which means you can jump right in. If you dont want to use that key, you can always go to TDI Portal and generate a new one!
Happy orchestrating!

@Christian Hauggaard I’m using Exmon tu run my TX Jobs.

I’m using the version:

I need the jobs execution in parallel.

How can start to use it?

Where is the new version of Exmon?

I’ve several Jobs in TX created in Exmon as packages. All the jobs really are Execution Packages in TX.

How to use the new funcionality?
