I try to upgrade  version 6221.1 for  customer Dorel.eu . I have the license number. But it requires me to log onto one of your servers to get authorisation . I cannot do that with this user  (not a dorel user).

What should I do ?

Hi Alain

6221.1 does not require a license number. 6221.1 is the new cloud based version of TimeXtender. Please note that it is not possible at the moment to upgrade a project from 20.10 to the new version. We plan to release a migration tool to help migrate 20.10 projects to the new version. You can sign up for free to try 6221.1 in the new TimeXtender Portal

@Christian Hauggaard; any news on the migration tool?

My infrastructure dept. want’s to upgrade to/install SQL 2022 servers, and if I can’t migrate I’ll have to re-do my projects :-(.

Hi @Anders The migration tool is undergoing testing at the moment. The legacy version (20.10.41 and up) supports SQL Server 2022. Perhaps you can upgrade the legacy version in the meantime?

Thank you @Christian Hauggaard, I was able to install 20.10.42, and set everything up. Moving from DEV server to this PROD server went smoothly as well.

Only issue is that I can’t execute any tables. No matter how I set the server version, I end up with an error: “Unknown destination server version”.

So, still locked.
