Hi,

We are upgrading from 6221.1 to the latest version. To uninstall 6221.1 it seems that we need the installation files for this version, but we no longer have those.

Is there some way to get the older installation files for versions 6XXX?

Is there another way to uninstall older versions without having the older installation files?

Hi @pontus.berglund

No the old files are not needed to uninstall it. Can you explain what message you get when trying to uninstall it?

I usually delete the downloaded files right after I have downloaded them to keep them from taking space on my drives. I have normally many versions installed at the same time.

Hi @Thomas Lind

The only way I have uninstalled in past have been by using the installation file:

I haven’t tried any other way so I haven got an error. We want to uninstall the older versions in our production environment to clear up space and keep it tidy.

How should I go about uninstalling without the old installation file?

Hi @pontus.berglund

I am just a different kind of user I guess. I always just goes to whatever Programs & Features or Installed apps

In there I search for TimeXtender clicks on the three dots next to the version I want to uninstall and select uninstall.

Some times it will come with some messages, but it is usually just information about how you may need to restart, though I don’t think I ever did that.

@Thomas Lind thanks for the advice, this worked for us.
