Wow, this is from 5 years ago…

I would like to add that it would be nice to add some information about what you send to the execution queue… Not just 'default package’ and also not just ‘see errors’ but also just logging when things succeed. I would like to see the order in which my tables are executed.

you can right-click the Default package and see the logging for your runs. You can drag tables and execution packages onto the queue and then you do see their name in the queue. Note that in the new release there are separate queues for each instance.

@rory.smith Hi, tnx for you answer, but that still doesn’t let me see the order in which my tables are executed. I can see the Gantt Chart, Execution Message and Execution Package for that run. The Gantt Chart is the most detailed and I can technically uncheck all tables and then only choose the tables I’m interested in but that still wont tell me which tables have a relation, I can’t see perspectives etc.

If there is any way I can see a log with start and finish times for each table, I can actually data mine what is happening and log if jobs are running longer due to size increase of because other resource gobbling simultaneous jobs etc.

Hi @Pepijn ,

in the new release you cannot at that level of detail. In the 20.10.xx series you can take this data from the repository database.

It would certainly be nice to have more APIs implemented to call this kind of data, but in practice I find the Execution Logs give me enough info most of the time.
