Create hierarchies in a Semantic model table

It would be very helpful to be able to create hierarchies in a semantic model table, then having hierarchies as a part of the cube definition.

When deploying a tabular model to Azure we now have to define the hierarchies after each deployment, which is a bit cumbersome.

One option: Right click table, 'Create hierarchy' along with 'Add measure' -> then a simple popup to define the levels.

Hi Magne

That sounds like a reasonable request and I agree that this would be needed for a good implementation of AS Tabular.

I believe that is going into the summer 18 release. But the release plan has not been finalized yet.

There are few shortcomings in TX for building tabular models.  Would really like to see this dealt with in the next version.
