An option to manually "fix" the data lineage for custom table inserts as is in place for custom views would be very appreciated.

Exactly what I need! A dynamic perspective does not include tables that use a Custom Table Insert.
It would be great that you can map the fields in the Custom Table Insert, just like you can map fields in Custom Views since the recent update.
