I’ve created a dynamic perspective based on an schema.

If I try to create an execution package to execute all the tables in that perspective, it’s not possible.

Is it a bug?

@rvgfox Thank you for bring this to our attention! I was able to recreate the issue and have created a ticket for our product team to address.

@rvgfox The Product Team has advised that this is working as designed, as a schema does not have any objects that it depends on, then nothing else is selected. However, if you select a table, then all of the dependent objects for that table will be selected.

Hi @Greg Lennox what is actually the point of being able to select schema's in a perspective? It does not include objects tables/views in the schema, does not populate dynamic perspectives, and will not include any objects when added to an execution package.

I would prefer the ability to include a schema in a perspective and use that in an execution package so that objects in that schema are automatically executed. For example, if you have multiple data sources in one business unit, you may want to automatically execute any tables added from one data source without needing to add each table to a perspective manually.
