Separate security roles and rules (SSL RLS) per environment

HI,
When copying from one SSL instance to another in V21 (6xxx), the RLS settings are overwritten in the destination. Since user access rules can get quite complicated, and often differ between development and production, this becomes quite impractical.
Is there any way to avoid this behavior?

    Hopefully when the conversion tooling from 20.10 → 6xxx appears some of the Global Connection functionality will also make its way across. Having separate security roles and rules per environment is really useful indeed.

    I hope something turns up soon 😀. Otherwise we will have to script the roles and RLS in the meantime.

    HI @anders.e.jonsson, unfortunately I do not see any workarounds to this currently (besides scripting the roles as you already mentioned). I will convert this question to an idea now.

      Is there any proper solution to this problem under way? Except for the work around.
