Hi, I am using TX 20.10.45.64. Can you tell me when support for this version will end?

Hi @Marius_dW

All of the releases we make are due to new features or bug fixes. We do not add a fix to an existing release, it will always be added to a higher number.

So in essence the release you are on will not be supported when a new version has been made.

However, as long as you have a valid license you can upgrade to this new version to get the new feature or fix. Additionally, if you aren’t affected by a bug or do not need a new specific feature you can continue to use this version “until the end of time”.

I talked with someone earlier this year who recently took over as partner for an old customer of ours, they were running version 4.5.37.64 or similar. It had been running on some server since December 2011 and if it wasn’t because they wanted to upgrade the SQL servers, it would have been able to continue running for many years more.

We do want you to upgrade regularly and as you can see in the above example, external programs like SQL may be upgraded to a version that the old version do not support.

There also is a option to migrate from LTS (20.10.xx) to TDI (Timextender Data Integration), but then you would likely contact your assigned SSP to get help with that.
