Solved

subscription license activation failed with following reason: access to codeletter.xml is denied.

hi

since this morning I get the message displayed in title. It is an Azure environment, TimeXtender was working on Friday, nothing changed on the license key... Any idea where to find/how to solve this issue???

thanks in advance

Hi Maarten,

1. Review folder permissions where codeletter.xml resides.

For the latest version:

C:\ProgramData\TimeXtender\TimeXtender\20.5.6.64

For older versions:

C:\ProgramData\Discovery Hub\Discovery Hub\<Version>

2. While TimeXtender is closed, delete Codeletter.xml file in the ProgramData folder. Then run TimeXtender again. The license will go through re-activation and it will create a new codeletter.xml file in that folder.

Hi Syed,

thanks for swift response, removed the xml file, ran TimeXtender and had to enter the license key to make it work!

thanks a lot!!
