I just upgraded from Discovery Hub 20.1.6.64 to TimeXtender 20.10.26.64and upgraded the repository. Everything works well with the deploy and execute, but when I try to restart the service, I get an error in the event log.

Service cannot be started. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40

Could someone please assist?

Hi Chuck,

Please follow the instructions to assign the service account to the correct project repository:

Multiple Environments

Of course be sure you reconfigure the service “log-on as” to the proper service account as well.

Hi Joseph,

That was what I needed to resolve the issue. Everything appears to now be working correctly.
