Hi,
I started working with the PowerBI refresh functionality in Timextender O&DQ 26.1.0.23.
After following the steps in Power BI Refresh Package in TimeXtender Orchestration | Community,the first tests were really promising, but after adding it to my Processes it seems like i keep getting unexcepted errors and PowerBI isn’t refreshing reliable. The first refresh of the day succeeded, but after that I only get errors.
Yesterday is successfully ran multiple times, but at the end it kept giving the same errors. I’m not getting any info as far I can see in the logfile output. The dataset has only refreshed one time today through scheduled/API refreshes, so I haven’t hit the limit for today yet.
I see the 429 “Too many requests” error coming back, which indicates throttling because API rate limits are exceeded, often due to high-frequency refreshes, parallel queries, or concurrent refresh plans.
However, as the test schedule was just once per hour I don’t think I’m at my limit yet?
Any help on debugging and identifying why it fails is much appreciated.
