We've published a hotfix for TimeXtender Orchestration, introducing the following improvements:
Changes:
- Optimized Execution in SaaS: Executions in the SaaS environment can now be configured to run on dedicated execution virtual machines
- Configurable Execution Mode: A new configuration variable allows customers to choose between execution virtual machines or the previous execution method.
Fixes:
- Executions Stuck in Running State: In the SaaS environment, orchestration executions would sometimes remain in a running state indefinitely, even after their underlying tasks had completed.
Note that this issue is fixed by changing your execution mode to use execution virtual machines. For further details please reach out to your TimeXtender contact - Consistent Task Execution in O&DQ Desktop: In the SaaS version, tasks executed from the O&DQ Desktop client will now run in the same location as the customer's scheduled executions, rather than executing locally.
