Error: Data source mappings failed validation prior to odx data source update

Hi everyone,

 

Trying to environment transfer but getting below error. Any idea's?

I haven't. But i've found the issue. Apparently 1 connector was still in my source ODX, unmapped.

 

After deleting it I have been able to migrate it.

    Is the data sources mapped in both instances the same?

    Should be. I just cleaned up everything in the original ODX, and then mapped them in the new ODX. There are no “open” data source connection mappings.

    What about in the desktop is there any version differences there?

    How can I verify this? Both are running on 6718 at the moment.

    Hi @dpjat 

    If you have transferred between them before, opening both ODX instances in TX desktop should make sure that they are of the same version.
