Hi,

Theobald Xtract IS and Universal do not support SAP Business One, they do support SAP Business All in One, CAR, APO, PI. See: https://helpcenter.theobald-software.com/xtract-universal/documentation/setup/requirements/#supported-sap-systems-and-releases

Our existing customers on SAP BusinessOne are utilising the OData API to extract data.
This can be achieved with the TimeXtender REST data source.

At implementation, OData was the only supported way by SAP to get data out of SAP BusinessOne.

Hi Frank,

Do we have any specific step-by-step guide to complete the same as I have a prospect in Mumbai with 3 Data Sources

  1. Dynamices 365 F&O on Cloud
  2. SAP B1 with HANA Database
  3. SAP ECC with SQL Database

They want to connect all and generate ETL

Hi,

  1. is covered in your other thread
  2. is covered here
  3. no guide as there are many options: CData has a SAP connector, but only useful for small dimensional tables as it is dead slow. Theobald delivers Xtract IS (SSIS-based) and Universal (produces its own webservice server, use JSON / REST to consume) which each have their own complexity and cost associated also depending on the SAP setup. If you can touch the SQL Server, you can load directly until 2028 when you will be forced to migrate to HANA. I would advise against the last, as that comes with its own can of worms.
