I have worked on many TX projects using ODX, but I have a new project that is using Business Unit.
Someone told me that Business Unit will be deprecated in the future version of TX. What is the best practice for that?

the new release does not have the Business Unit anymore indeed. There will be an upgrade tool coming out to migrate towards the new release from the current release. I guess a good preparatory step is to upgrade to the most recent release of 20.10.x and prepare your Business Unit to avoid things like transformations and custom scripting if you use those currently.
We will have to wait for the actual release of the tool to know the exact limitations, but you can imagine some more custom things that the BU can do, the ODX Server cannot could already be mitigated for.
