Hi,

We have a customer in India who is moving from SAP to some other ERP. They want to extract all the transactional data from SAP to Data Lake for future usage before discarding SAP. As it is one time activity, not interested in investing in Theobald.

What is the best and most effective way to extract the Data to TX and then use with new ERP for Analytics Purpose.

@pkaustubha please confirm which SAP instance the customer has so we can help advise accordingly e.g. HANA, BusinessOne, etc

In the link I sent, my colleague Frank suggests you can connect to SAP BusinessOne using OData API to extract data via TimeXtender REST data source (as far as I am aware this does not require theobald)

@pkaustubha which SAP instance does the customer have? e.g. HANA, BusinessOne, etc

As mentioned in the below post, it might be possible to extract via OData API using TimeXrender REST data source connection if it is SAP BusinessOne

Hi Christian,

Customer is not keen to use Theobald and all the links share by you redirect to Theobald only. I raised this query and the other one, specifically as customer is not keen to use Theobald. Let me know how can we connect to SAP without Theobald.
