Services are not removed on uninstall

Symptoms

Sometimes the TimeXtender Execution Service is not removed from the services list when TimeXtender is uninstalled

Resolution

Remove the service manually. This can be done using the command prompt as follows:

  1. Run command prompt with elevated rights:
    • Click Start
    • Type "CMD"
    • Right click the icon and click Run as administrator
  2. Type "sc delete 'TimeXtender Execution Service <Version>'" in the prompt and press enter.
