Excel from SFTP Datasource

Hello team!

I need to extract a Excel file from an SFTP server. I successfully created my SFTP datasource :

SFTP Connection

But I only see the ‘root’ folder on data selection section. When I click preview I can see all my files but I don’t know what to do to get them !

Root

Could you help me on the next step ?

Thanks a lot!

Christine

Hi,

the way you work with CData connectors is a bit of a different mindset: choose the connector for the file/table/datastructure you want to extract and use the connection type for the interface. In your example, use one of the Excel connectors and use the connection settings for SFTP sources.

The SFTP connector allows you to see metadata of the SFTP server (and push and pull files if you are programming against it).
