Hi guys,

Somehow I am unable to create a job for my semantic models or my datawarehouse/ data area. I can’t select the model when I’m trying to add a new job.

Hi @r.miltenburg ,

have you added the Semantic Models and DWH instances to your Execution Server Configuration? Until you do, they will not be available for the definition of Jobs.

This is a very cumbersome process… Once you know how to do it, then it’s OK but it took me almost 10 minutes to find out (maybe it says something about me!) and then only because I found this page. It’s not intuitive anymore.

  1. Open the SSL
  2. Create the execution package
  3. save as deployed version
  4. add to the execution server configuration
  5. refresh! Don’t forget to refresh!! Took me a while to get this
  6. Edit existing job or create new job
  7. save again
