Today, we’ve published a minor release of TimeXtender Desktop (v. 6430.1) that contains the following changes:

 

Changed

  • Removed the ‘Copy to Instance’ feature from Desktop as this is now done in the Portal.

Fixed

  • Executing an execution package with an incrementally loaded table added to the Full Load objects list would do a wrong cast and throw an error.

@Thomas Hjermitslev Is it neccessary upgrade the execution service too or only the desktop?

I've informed support as well, but we noticed that in deploys it deploys the guarded tables and not the normal tables, instead of vice-versa.

@Thomas Hjermitslev Eith this version I’ve detected problems when I deploy a data area with the option:

I get an error message saying that the data base doesn’t exists ¿?

Is it neccessary upgrade the execution service too or only the desktop?

Yes. The execution service is part of the TimeXtender program so it you should use the one for this release. The ODX is not updated, so you can keep that.

Eith this version I’ve detected problems when I deploy a data area with the option:

Please add a support ticket with this issue, specifically what steps you went through to get the error and the error message details.
