In version 20.10.39 you sneaked in a new features in the BC Adapter data source: 17627: Business Central adapter - Merge extension tables option for SQL Server provider Added option to merge a table and its extension tables together as one table. This feature could be very useful but I can’t find any documentation on how it works and if there are any limits or considerations that need to be taken into account. Initial testing suggest that it works for some tables but maybe not for tables in extension modules?

This is done using a master token provided by the supplier. When testing in Postman, I receive a response in CSV format; however, the same does not work in TimeXtender. In Postman, the request automatically generates a header "cookie" containing an access token (through redirection). Is it possible to use a cookie container with a redirect option? In cases where a query is redirected to another URL and an authentication cookie obtained from the original URL needs to be set in the redirected request? If so, is this option available in TimeXtender's REST or RSD functionality?

when we load a table from the data lake it keeps failing after 4 till 5 hours. we have tried different timeout settings but the execution from the datalake to the sql storage keeps failing. See the screenshots and the error message below. In fact I have now 2 tickets open for a timeout issue. for 2 different problems.

Hi We experienced for the second time a failure with our overnight TX jobs not running (first time was on 16 Sep) and on investigation we were not able to open up the ODX in TimeXtender (same issue as already logged here https://support.timextender.com/ingest-89/tx-freezes-when-opening-the-odx-2248) Could not manually stop and restart the [TimeXtender_Ingest_Service_6744.1] service, so had to manually kill the task from the CMD and rerun the [TimeXtender Ingest Service Configuration 6744.1] tool. In the other post the conclusion seemed to be that this issue had now been resolved, but for us the issue has now occurred twice in the last 6 or so weeks. Is this still a known issue? Hi, Is there a way to view the data lineage for tables populated using the Custom Table Insert method? When we select the “Data Lineage” option for a column in a Custom Table Insert table, it only shows the data lineage with that table as the source, rather than displaying the tables used within the Custom Table Insert itself. Hi, I'm currenty developing the GA4 connector in TimeXtender. With some other tips and tricks of other posts it was quite simple to create the connection. At this moment I have 7 different properties from where all data should be loaded. I've read multiple posts but haven't found a solution to extract data dynamically over a list of properties. Current setup: CData Connector -- Google Analytics In this connector I can filter on property ID. TimeXtender -- v6xxxx + ODX Creating managed Queries to filter the relevant data from [GlobalAccessObject]. But haven't found a property id in this list. I think that currently the only option is to create for each property one connection. Or has someone found another solution?

Hi, we are in a project to update our on premise ERP system Infor to the current version Infor LN CE which is running on the cloud. Since we cannot access the database then directly we are currently checking how to ingest the data to TimeXtender in future. There is a tool within the ERP suite to provide the data to "Infor Data Fabric" which is an Amazon S3 data lake where the ERP data is stored in JSON files. This data fabric provides a SQL Endpoint to query the data. So similar architecture as in MS fabric with lakehouses. Hi, i have a gen2 storage account with a blob container with multiple parquet files. when i do a sync with odx it’s succesfull, the transfer gives me for 4 files the message “ is used by another table”. all other files in the same map go ok. have tried to recreate the blob container, and recreate the parquet files again, same results. Exact message: The table folder 'parquet_taak_status' is used by another table with the id 9a510177-a130-4bcc-aaaa-5abefd42c1b9 how to solve / find the other table that is referenced to? thanks!

I have a scenario where Exmon periodically seems to loose synchronization, or perhaps has some status issue relating to a package, Where the TX package will just error out immediately on the process map with an error that the job is already running. I am using Exmon against the SAAS version of TimeXtender (holistic). The underlying package is definitely not erroring out or is running. But Exmon seems to think that the package/Job is running. So far the only way I have been able to correct this is by deleting the package and re-adding it. But this keeps reappearing randomly or different packages with the Exmon processes. Is there a way to clear the status of an Exmon package or is this a bug that needs addressing? Using TX 6645.1 and Exmon 24.2.0.28 Help! finding it hard to explain this one away with the client!

Hello, We have a REST API where we use both Dynamic Value and Pagination (replace URL). The issue is that the paging works fine but only considers the first Dynamic Value and skips the rest. The final result then returns all pages for the first dynamic value and no rows for the rest. Further we also use Table Flattening as well as the Exhaustive Metadata Scan Option. How can we make it loop through all dynamic values as well as keeping the paging option? Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue with TimeXtender when trying to retrieve tables containing datetimeoffset columns through the Generic ODBC Data Source connector. The datetimeoffset columns aren’t coming through, and in the ODBC settings, the option to override datetime types is greyed out, which I thought might solve the issue. Has anyone encountered this or found a workaround to retrieve datetimeoffset data through ODBC in TimeXtender? Thanks in advance!

Hi!Getting this error when I try to open the Dev instance. Test and Prod is OK. I could open an earlier version of the project but after I made some changes and tried to save and deploy, I first got a warning that said that this was not the latest version. When I chose to save anyway, I got the same error. Is there some way to “force save” to make this earlier version the latest one and get rid of the error?

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to use multiple ODX instances for different enviroments (DEV/ACC/PRD).I know that at 20.10 you could only use a single ODX as after multiple enviroment transfer all mapping to ODX would be lost when using multiple ODX instances Is this still the case? Is this issue solved in next-gen?

I am using a REST API (CData source) to get source data. Since I need to include a CSR_NONCE value in the header (unique key value), the REST api is set up as a POST. Is it possible to specify that you want to do a POST rather than GET in a CData source?

Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue where one of the columns in my destination table has the same name as a SQL function, and because of this, I'm unable to retrieve it in a normal way. To work around this problem, I wanted to use the Query Table Tool to retrieve the column in a parameterized way. However, for this specific data source (which is a Generic ODBC Data Source), the Query Table Tool option is greyed out. I've noticed that the Query Table Tool is available for other data source types. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Thanks in advance!

Using the TimeXtender Dynamics 365 Business Central - Online connector, I'm having trouble filtering columns in the ODX. With all columns selected everything is fine, but once I make a selection in columns I get the error below when running the Transfer Task. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? Some of these locations have over 50 reviews, and since Google Reviews uses pagination through a nextPageToken for more than 50 reviews, I need to handle this pagination effectively. The client is running TimeXtender version 20.10.52.64, and I am using the CData connector version 24.0.8999.0. I have reviewed the documentation on the TimeXtender support pages about nesting an API call and utilizing pagination. I am attempting to set up the Query Slicer to loop through the locations and retrieve all reviews per location, but I am encountering difficulties. Here’s what I have set up so far: I created two .rsd files: locations.rsd: Retrieves a list of all location IDs.
